A bottom-dweller reaching over 30 inches, it displays a striking gray to chocolate-brown body with subtle white spotting. Feed meaty foods regularly and maintain stable saltwater conditions (salinity 1.020–1.025, 72–78°F, pH 8.1–8.4). Guitarfish are social with their own species but may jump—use a secure lid. Avoid copper treatments entirely. Due to this species' timid and sensitive nature, local pickup only is available to ensure the safest transport and acclimation to your aquarium.
