Silver Dollar Fish are peaceful schooling fish ideal for large tropical aquariums. At 5cm, these hardy specimens display a striking silver body and reach up to 15cm when mature. Keep them in groups of six or more in water temperatures of 75-82 F with a pH of 6.0–7.5. As herbivores, they feed on algae wafers and vegetables. Pair with calm tankmates, avoid sharp décor, and provide smooth aqua scaping. With stable conditions, they live several years and make excellent community tank additions.
