Red Claw Crab
Red claw crabs are semi-aquatic brackish water dwellers that require both land and water in their tank setup. These crabs need at least 10 gallons and must spend half their time on land to breathe properly. They're moderately easy to keep, reaching about 4 inches across, and thrive in slightly brackish conditions between 70–88°F. With striking red and orange coloring, they're aggressive omnivores with a lifespan up to 2.5 years. Despite being commonly mislabeled as fully aquatic, they're a rewarding alternative species for experienced aquarists.
